Stumbled onto a cool home design website - Houzz.com. It gives tips & ideas of all sorts and allows you to have a conversation with others who are interested in the same design issues. Check out this article on what to think about when you are purchasing draperies: How to Get Your Window Treatment Right.
MaxCARE doesn't sell draperies, but we do clean them hanging in place at your home or business. Check out this photo of the Town of Ridgeville's auditorium draperies!

Dust Mites And Your Inability To Breathe!
What makes you sneeze inside your own house? Well, dust, of course … but where does some of that dust come from? Dust mites. While dust mites themselves are not harmful, their microscopic skin sheddings and feces can cause allergic reactions in some people – particularly asthmatics. And yes, dust mites have a large creep-out factor.
In addition to the obvious regular dusting that is advisable (and who needs more inspiration to dust than imagining cast-off dust mite skin and feces in the dust on your household surfaces?) and encasing your bedding in dust mite-proof covers, regular professional steam cleaning of carpets and upholstery is a great way to remove dust mite detritus that you can’t see. Your favorite spot on the sofa … the recliner your teenager lives in … even the mattress you sleep on can be cleaned by a professional steam cleaning company – MaxCARE if you live in the Charleston area. If you have draperies in your home, we can clean & de-dust those as well.
I’m not going to post a picture of a disgusting dust mite here, but if you’d like to read further about dust mites, check out this link. http://www.theallergyshop.com.au/pages/Dust-Mites-Fact-Sheets.html
